Commissioned by Drop Everything and funded by the Arts Council, the Coral Pavilion is Forerunner's contribution to Drop Everything 2022. A temporary structure that serves as a multipurpose stage and gathering space. Built out of white powder-coated scaffolding, this structure is intended as a framework for different forms of engagement. Its multiple stages and seating areas provide an alternative venue where the divide between audience and performer can become blurred. Its modular design and robust materials give the pavilion the possibility of many future reconfigurations both as a resource for the island and for the Drop Everything community.
